Marv and Cathy DeVisser, Spring Arbor FMC, MI, along with Eric Perry, Battle Creek FMC, MI, travel to Haiti to work with a goat project Oct. 27 to Nov. 3.

Willie Kirchhofer is leading a discipleship training team of seven from Crossroads FMC, Clifton, NJ, to Haiti, Oct. 28 to Nov. 2. The team will work with Dr. at the . They will hold chapel services and visit patients, as well as conduct workshops for hospital staff.

The of , MI, is sending a team of 11 teens and adults to Haiti from July 24-31. Youth Pastor is the team leader for this group which will minister at the site.

Linda, Kevin and Emily Kate from in Akron, Ohio, are in Haiti to drill wells. Emily and Linda will be there July 23 to 30, and Kevin will stay on until August 21.

(FM), , MI, is sending a team of 13 to Dessalines, Haiti, Nov. 10-17. This team, under the leadership of , will be involved in maintenance projects at the hospital, laying flooring at the new vision/dental clinic and pre-trip planning for the next trip in April.

Haiti Teams Notice: The Haiti Deployment Team continues to actively assess current conditions, including the cholera outbreak. At the present time, teams are encouraged to continue with their travel plans, but are urged to pay close attention to careful hand washing and to drink only filtered/purified water. Teams are also encouraged to pack their own food or buy pre-packaged food in the country and to avoid locally grown food. The Haiti Deployment Team wants those traveling to Haiti to carefully consider the risks and does not want anyone to feel undue pressure to go if they believe it is better to stay home at the present time.
